Bat flipping season! Back to back jacks from Cahna and Lauriano to put the A's up 3-2. That's 20 from Lauriano now, the 2nd best CF in the AL.

And Sano promptly puts one in the 3rd deck to tie it back up. Wow that was a shot!

Man this was the one matchup over the 4 game series that you had to feel good about as a Braves fan and Soroka fell apart in the 5th.

edit - I'm guessing we should call this outing by Minter "mopup duty down 1 run in the 9th? Surely they didn't expect him to actually keep it at 1 run.

Kimbrel has been very shaky so far to say the least. Pretty obviously didn't have it there. 2 BB's, bailed out by a bad bunt and an excellent tag by Javy, and got really lucky that Machado's liner found a glove. Hopefully its just rust/not quite being used to pitching 4 out of 5 days.....I'll take another win though.

It's been 2017 Wade Davis esque. if he gets that fastball command it's game over though.

2nd Half Cubs are a thing. Though that might've been the worst performance by a single player in a game I've seen. Russell was terrible. I dunno why he's still on the team. probably the options around him are equally as bad but still.

What a fun 9th inning that was tonight in Minnesota. I haven't got to watch a game in 2 weeks. Glad I got to tune into a great one.

I just keep waiting for Happ to get called back up. He's not good either, but at least he'll run into one from time to time, which Descalso can't do at all, and Russell hasn't done much.

A 2nd base multi-platoon of Robel Garcia/Happ/Russell/Descalso/Bote/Zobrist (if he ever comes back as a rusty shell of his old self) leaves so much to be desired.

Seems like this Matt Beaty kid for LA does nothing but mash clutch homers....saved the Dodgers after the bullpen blew a 5 run lead in the top of 8th vs Miami
