Last night was the 4th time both teams exchanged lead-off home runs this season, and the Yankees and Dodgers were involved in 3 of them.
March 30th- Jarrod Dyson off Kenta Maeda and Joc Pederson off Zack Godley at Dodger Stadium
July 21st- Charlie Blackmon off James Paxton and DJ LeMahieu off German Marquez (first pitch)- at Yankee Stadium
August 20th- Victor Reyes off Aaron Sanchez and George Springer off Spencer Turnbull at Minute Maid Park

Donaldson returns to Toronto for first time since being dealt. Video tribute being planned for the former MVP. Fittingly enough, it's raining on his return date (and it's been a fairly dry summer in the city)

Poor but stupid fan.
The 1 row ahead of the safety netting, a pop fly near the seats. The fan stretches over the wall and prevents Vladdy from catching it. Ironically, that fan had a Vladdy jersey. He was obviously upset about his actions, but he also looks like he's had multiple cans to drink.
Luckily replay overturned it.
The very next pitch, pop fly to other end of field. Fielder catches it, but was a few inches from another fan stealing the ball. This fan did it on purpose and had a Braves jersey. He was bragging back in his seat(which wasnt even in the front row where he tried getting the ball from) about almost stopping a Jays fielder from catching the ball.

Amazing that call gets overturned when there isn't a clear angle which shows the fan reached over yet yesterday we can't get a call overturned when replay clearly showed Freeman slid under the tag at home...replay makes no sense.
The only good thing is at least it wasn't like it was some ridiculous play that Vlad would have needed to catch that ball if the fan isn't there.Comment
