Why not just have them wear netting cages or something like that.

Soroka has nothing early...but, I have no idea where the zone is right now.

I really dislike the Sobotka/Minter show. Flashbacks to our early season bullpen...these guys are bad.

Brewers dragging the Cubs down into the grave with them. 5 runs in the 4th to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 6-3 lead. Cards and Nats winning.

Kinda hoping the Cubs lose out at this point, just so heads will roll. No way this club should be a 76-66, 2nd place team with its talent and payroll. Yet another year of sliding back toward mediocrity. The organization needs to take a hard look at why it has gotten worse every year since 2016.

Seems pretty obvious they don't know why after all of the talk in the offseason and the product this year.

It seems that Theo is great at building, but has trouble sustaining. IMO, he’s made some poor choices with regards to pitching in free agency.

That said, I can’t blame Theo for the offense. On paper the lineup should be better than this, but the hitter’s approach (especially with RISP) is really poor.

The Chatwood signing was pretty bad, but I still think Darvish was the right choice over Arrieta. Can't really think of any other bad signings off the top of my head.

Offensively too many of they're young hitters have regressed. Russell, Happ and Almora each have taken steps back the past few years. I think Joe Maddon gets too much of the blame for the Cubs struggles but if they don't make the playoffs or lose in the Wild Card game again it'd be hard to imagine him sticking around

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but how did New England, the MLB, and the NFL plan in accordance to have the Red Sox and Patriots both play at home on primetime television in ratings/attendance-impacting games (vs. Yankees and Week 1)?

That seems like a terrible decision.

It's definitely not. It's shocking one, time-wise. But it was needed.

I Googled Dombrowski's name, to see his Wiki snapshot read that he "is the president," then when I clicked on the page I saw it edited to say he "is the former president." That was so weird.
