Better to have TJ than shoulder surgery though.
I was just saying if you're young and nasty on the mound and throw hard you're doomed. TJS is coming. Sorry that news just kind of put me in a very pessimistic mood. Ugh... still am.

Yeah unfortunately this is the ugly side effect of the reliance on radar guns for scouting. You can teach a kids how to pitch. Can't necessarily teach 95+

Shocking. I'm pretty much ready to move on without him.

Stanton probably needs to adjust his workout regiment. Less lifting and more flexibility is needed. Guy is too jacked.

Imagine this news, an Angels pitcher is hurt!

Griffin Canning is headed for an MRI.... Incredibly weak rotation, just got weaker.

Such a shame to be wasting Trout!

That's Spring Training baseball for you.

Nolan Gorman bats out of order which gives us an out and then hits into a game ending double play.

at least Trout wont be lonely anymore; now they can squander Ohtani along with him.

On another note, I think the White Sox absolutely have to trade one of Tim Anderson / Yoan Moncada if they're going to succeed long term. Both of them are pretty powerful hitters but strike out wayyyy too much, and on top of that Anderson's walk rate is absolutely atrocious. I have no idea what they're thinking by sticking him in the leadoff spot

2 years ago I would have said keep Moncada. after his 2019 season, I've switched to Anderson.

Angels right-hander Griffin Canning is undergoing an MRI after experiencing pain in his right elbow. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.

So who wants to bet another Angels pitcher ends up with TJ Surgery?

I have to imagine the Angels have changed their training staff people or protocols and altered their pitcher training methods in recent years... right?

This is ridiculous to see every season.
