The crowd noise is in the stadium speakers, not a broadcast feature. The players can hear it as well.

Seems to only be positive crowds.

They'll only play the sounds during positive moments for the home team. No booing or anything for the road team scoring.

And seems like they're controlled by someone different than the regular stadium jumbotron person.

Lol, breaking news coming in the middle of the game.

After innings of speculation, turns out Dante Bichette wasn't hanging around the Jays dugout for as long as he could before anyone said anything.

Jays very recently hired him as a coach.

Although now that you say it, I do think I recall hearing something about them using sounds from the Show.

Probably need to work out the kinks which is very understandable but it seems very random this far (which is on par from what I've heard during soccer matches as well).

Yeah, I guess they were all given tablets. I wonder if it can take a bunch of algorithms into account just like The Show, like where it can tell if it's close and late or if it's a payoff pitch, etc. If it's completely up to the sound board guy, then they'll just have to be quick with their fingers to make it sound as natural as possible.

His return to the majors might be very short lived.

Also, Indians chose to wear road jerseys though they are at home since road jerseys say Cleveland instead of Indians.

Does anyone know what a fielder's card looks like when it comes to positioning for players?

Is it a tiny diagram on the field showing an X where they should stand for each batter? Is is a number that goes in accordance with a general region where they should stand (like 1 is deep and toward left, 9 is shallow and toward right)?

Very curious if anyone can share a picture online of what one of these looks like, if they know how where to find them.
