Tex was the last visitor to do it at Fenway (in 2010), but he was on the Yankees.

Tex was also the last Braves player to hit 3 homers on the road in an interleague game.

Speaking of 3-HR games, Alex Dickerson just became the first Giant to hit 3 home runs in the first 6 innings since Willie McCovey in 1964.

Holy schnikes. The Rockies have imploded since that 12-3 or whatever start. People here were talking World Series contention.. that was hilarious.

Cardinals put up 16 runs yesterday! Wow!

And I blame Charlie Blackmon. He dipped below .400 and the Rockies gave up.

Both guys with 3-HR games last night were just a Grand Slam away from the Home Run Cycle.

Dickerson's would've been natural, having hit a solo shot in the first, a 2-run homer in the 2nd, and a 3-run bomb in the 6th.

His first was also the second longest of the year, at 480.

If they played against Texas they definitely would've gotten it.

Was a night of records apparently.

Look for a heated game between the Rays and Yankees tonight. Chapman sent a 101 mph fastball over the dome of a Tampa hitter last night that lead to some fireworks after the game and some comments.

Seems to be a rivalry brewing.

                        Stupid Adam Duvall.

EDIT: Also, it's apparently the first time in MLB history that a team has back-to-back 3-HR games.

                        Love being part of history.

Ryu since the start of August:
                          34IP, 5ER, 39K, 8BB

Jays snap their losing streak, now 1 back of Yankees again. How do Tigers keep winning!?

Can't wait for Bo to return. A good rotation, bullpen, and then getting your top hitter back, September could be ending on a high note.

Rossy REALLY doesn't want to go the pen in this game, and I don't blame him. Probably not going to have a choice soon, though.

                            Good outing by Hendricks.

Edit: This got a bit more comfortable when the Pirates turned the 7th and 8th innings into a defensive clown fiesta. Cubs win 8-2. Was 3-1 when I posted the above.

Angels are getting bamboozled by the Padres.

Meanwhile, Mike Trout is one home run away from tying Tim Salmon for most home runs in Angels history, and two away from 300 for his career.

What are the odds? Salmon and Trout.
