Also not to rehash this. But that last inning of the Yankees 2020 season was pathetic and it's not what a World series team does. 2 strikeouts. Both defeated looking AB's. Yankees probably still lose. But I'm so sick of having a team that doesn't put the ****ing ball in play. Especially with RISP. Good things can happen when you make contact.

The Yankees do this terrific job of grinding out AB's and then can't move anybody over unless it's a homerun. This team is so close to a WS it's maddening. If they don't win a WS with this group it's gonna be devastating.

Going into yesterday the Rays had won 3 straight games with 13 strikeouts in each one and scoring most of their runs on home runs. I just don’t know how people watch what is happening and come to these conclusions.

It's not just this year man. It's every year. Yankees always fight but come up just a bit short. I get what you're saying. Yes the game could have gone in a different direction. But I still just don't think this team is built for the WS.

And they've proved it time and time again and my biggest gripe with this team is they leave too many runners stranded.

By any means. Great Rays pitching or not it's pathetic that this lineup put up one run in a win or go home game.

Maybe we were just spoiled with those 90s teams. Just miss that Yankees dominance.
