      Funny moment during Jays/Astros game.

      Cavan Biggio hits a HR.

Camera pans to the crowd where his mom and dad are watching.

His mom of course is excited.

His dad Craig is sitting there with a "That's my boy....but my job (with the Astros) comes first" look

Dansby going to walk us off again, isn’t he?

Edit: Not even giving him the chance.

This is the first time that I've watched an extra inning since the new rule was implemented, and I have 2 takeaways.

          The Braves offense sucks.
The really is the dumbest rule.

Can’t believe the Braves won that.

Literally everything about extra innings feels so artificial. I like the win because of the win, but nothing about it felt exciting or unexpected, really.

No longer does extra innings birth heroes. It just creates runs.

deGrom just looked like Juan Pierre in his prime with the bunt he dropped down for a base hit

Speaking of which, I snapped this shot a few days ago.

Who here can look at this shot, and with a straight face say: "Yeah, it's important that we have the DH in both leagues to have more lineups like this." (?)

deGrom entered today with an OPS of 1.071. Robbie Grossman (Detroit's DH) entered today with an OPS of .734.

I'm surprised we don't really see customized designs on bats.

Like how players have customized shoes, goalies in hockey have customized helmets, surprised bats haven't gotten that treatment yet if they're allowed.

Feels like that could be something that would be a hit.

Good to see Acuna in the lineup to start the game after being HBP last night.

Big first inning. McCutchen with a leadoff HR for the Phils, and the Braves posting 4 in the bottom of the inning.

Evan Longoria hit his 400th career double earlier today at home. Went unacknowledged... probably as it should go.

When Jean Segura hit his 200th career double at home, he got the ball and a standing ovation. It was like a damn parade, and was awkwardly hilarious.

                            Jordan Hicks out 6 weeks.

                            Damn
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

There has to be something going on with all these injures it's getting ridiculous. are players just not tough as they once were?? are they training to much? are the staff not as good?? are they overworked?? a lot will blame the short season. but it's been getting worse each year. soon we will need 60 man rosters and 40 active playuers!

I’ve reached the point where I start looking at it as a positive when a minor league pitcher needs Tommy John. I’m assuming every pitcher will need it at one point so it’s best to get it out f the way early. Granted there is always the chance you could need it twice but that’s less common
