At least Acuna was able to walk off under his own power, but be could still miss some time even if it doesn't end up being as bad as it first looked.

But man. Just burn this season from the history books already

Acuna's batting stance and pre-load put his hands and wrists in a place to get easily hit if the pitch is up/in. How many times has it been, like 3 or 4 now?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Walking off means nothing for an ankle, imo. I hurt my ankle once, played the last 7 innings on it, barely able to put weight on it. 3 days later the thing was swollen up, went and got an MRI, broken ankle, needed surgery, wasn't 100% recovered until 9 months later.

Adrenaline can and will "hide" stuff pretty well. Based off the replays I'd say it is possible he fractured his ankle, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a sprain that keeps him out a couple of weeks.

Forgot the Jays played so early today.

Nice to see they won after trailing 2-0 and 4-3.

Jays have as many road wins as any team minus the Giants has home wins! Can't wait until Jays start racking up home games. They've only played 11 home games. For reference, the Yankees, White Sox, Astros and Mets have WON 11 home games.

To be fair, you could replace "Minter" with basically any Braves reliever and your statement would still be true.

Mariners called up their top prospect Jared Kelenic yesterday.

Tonight he got his first major league hit, one that went over the fence for his first major league home run.

Not going to win many games issuing 12 walks as a pitching staff

Sigh. Does that still count as a blown save for Kimbrel, allowing the extra inning runner to score and tie it?

This minigame is dumb in so many ways.

Now a loss as well as the next batter singles to score the winning run. At least Kimbrel earned the BS by giving up the 2nd hit....

HR #250 for Freddie Freeman tonight

Ozzie Albies hit one off the top of the left field fence, then he hit one off the top of the right field fence, then he hit one over the center field fence, but Jackie Bradley Jr climbed the wall and stole it.

Ian Anderson with a no-hitter through 6 innings, I didn't think that they would let him pitch the 7th but they did. The batter got bailed out what should have been strike 3 and then he singles to break up the no-no.
