2 innings equals 6 outs. We all know this.

For the Braves it also means "let's strikeout 5 times". I legitimately hate this team.

NHL had a "Canadian bubble". Since they divided up the 31 teams into 4 divisions, you had three American divisions of 8 teams, and the Canadian division with all 7 Canadian teams.

So the Canadian teams could fly back and forth to each city (even though technically the travel is worse since Toronto to Vancouver is comparable to NY to LA).

The Jays issue is mainly with the border restrictions. There's no major issue with Jays playing at home...if all the teams they played are also staying in Canada the whole season.

But with less restrictions and no quarantine, teams could move freely across the border and would be fine to play.

The way things are going, August in Toronto could be comparable to how games looked last year around the league in terms of no fans. Although I read that Canada has the highest vaccination percentage of first doses in the world, and second doses are moving quickly (I got mine already too), so I could see a scenario where fans are allowed back this season, maybe even in August.

What a horrible inning for the Yankees.

Tied game, 2 runners on, 2 outs. Easy groundball to SS, bobbled, now its bases loaded. Then a wild pitch, runners all move up, its 3-2 Jays. Then a single to the OF but both runners score so now its 5-2 Jays.

Guess it helps to face someone worse than you defensively.

Jays bullpen about to cost the Jays for the 3rd time in 5 games.

They badly need to go out and get bullpen help.

Montoya looks like he’s losing some patience. Atkins is wasting a great offence.

Rizzo about got DeGrom. But it fell short of the fence. This guy is a cheat code on the mound.

Mets players have a magnet on their head for the ball. Villar just got hit in the ear on a throw while stealing second

I sometimes wonder what umpires actually watch when they are behind the plate. Anderson and Contreras just had a cross up that led to ball going almost right down the middle, but since Contreras caught it awkwardly it was called a ball. Clearly the umpire isn't actually watching the ball in that case, only what the catcher is doing.

I guess Smith is catching, not Contreras.

That always drives me nuts. Even if there's a cross up that's an easy strike. Pay attention!

Ozzie kills me at the plate. I get being aggressive is his thing, but you just watched Acuna take the count full before getting his double and Freeman just took 3 straight balls before your AB to walk. Why do you come up there and popout on pitch 1 when it's not even a great pitch. Take the strike and force him to throw some more.

Bad team doing bad things. Leadoff double by Acuna. Inning ends with him still on 2nd. Awesome baseball there guys. Worst Braves team in the 21st century easily.
