I didn't realize Cards-Braves was the scheduled Sunday night game. Guess ESPN gets shortchanged a few innings tonight.

As much as I don’t like the 7 inning games it would be unfair for the Braves to play a doubleheader today with the second game being a late game then flying to NY afterwards to play another doubleheader tomorrow

Cards shut out for the 3rd time in last 8 games. Damn
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Braves get outscored 9-2 on the day and come out 1-1. That's baseball for you.

I honestly don't remember that. That kindly surprises me.

I remember it well because it annoyed me...lol. I always thought Klesko got a bad rap and Bobby under appreciated him. He proved me right when he posted those 2000-2002 seasons for the Padres; he was a 30-20 guy one year.

Wander Franco, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, is headed to the big leagues with the Tampa Bay Rays, source confirms to ESPN. Franco, 20, is a shortstop but can play second and third base, too. He’s been wrecking AAA, hitting .323/.376/.601. Rays could use him. Lost six in a row.

I can't describe how happy I am he's being called up against the Red Sox.

                  He's gonna hit 3 bombs.

First inning just ended and both pitchers have been checked for sticky stuff. I wonder if they’re doing this every inning

They're doing that in the Cubs game and I would assume all over MLB.

Acunas’s arm is every bit as lethal IRL as it is in The Show. Just unleashed a rocket to throw out Alonso going 1st to 3rd on a play where he was in motion before the pitch

I absolutely LOATHE these 7 inning games; just ridiculous.

Rough day for the Mets, find out Luchessi probably needs Tommy John, Gsellman has a torn lat, Familia to the IL with a hip impingement, and now Villar leaves with an injury

Yu Darvish just became the first pitcher in MLB history to record 1500 strikeouts in less than 200 games.

Good thing Manfred wanted these double headers to be less taxing on the players. The Braves only had to play 28 innings within 30 hours all while also traveling from Georgia to New York in that span.

That's some good scheduling right there.
