    So, I'll edit my post.

Ohtani could get 35HR before the ASG.

Crazy fact is that Chris Davis has the real pre ASG record with 37, tied with Reggie Jackson.

    He finished with 53.

The chase for Maris record will be fun to watch.

That it does. I constantly think about Bryce winning it in DC and Todd Frazier winning it in Cincinnati.

Then the ridiculousness of Vlad and Pete in 2019.

Cardinals are currently being no hit against the Giants by Kevin Gausman

Yes I'm trying to jinx it.

Especially with Kim pitching well. 0-0 in the 7th

          EDIT: It worked!

Hopefully it works out better than when I posted about Aaron Nola on the verge of tying Tom Seaver’s consecutive strikeout record in an attempt to jinx him

Tylor Megill looked great through four innings and then couldn’t get out of the 5th in his first two starts, nice to see him make it through the 5th tonight.

This team is beyond predictable. Win a few games in a row and/or make a great comeback win and then watch them collapse the very next game/series. These guys can say it all they want that they don't think about getting to .500 or finally getting over .500, but their performances every single time they get there shows they can't handle the pressure. It's not a coincidence at this point.

This isn’t looking good, you can usually tell on the first batter if it’s a night Diaz doesn’t have it. Get him out of there

Well this 0-10 stretch certainly puts an end to the era of this Cubs core. Gotta think KB and Kimbrel will be on the move in the next 2 weeks. Maybe Baez, too. I can't imagine anyone wants Rizzo right now.

Kimbrel's price tag, if the Cubs move him, will be huge given his performance this year. They'd be wise to try though.

He should be as good as gone. No reason to keep him on a .500 team. I think this is the last year of his deal, too?

Vesting option for next year...I'd imagine any team would take this performance again next year if the salary is $16M-$20M.

$1M club buyout too, but that end year should help bring in a haul versus a 3-month rent.
