Can't win scoring two runs, boys.

Going to need to sweep Baltimore and get a lot of help to have a shot.

No way I thought Atlanta would get to the playoffs AFTER losing Acuna mid-season.

Braves were 40-43 with him; 46-29 without him. Clearly he was holding us back.

It's interesting how losing key players can sometimes help a team's dynamics.

I've never see a ball hit out of Dodger Stadium. But Tatis did just that. [emoji54][emoji54][emoji54]

Dodgers are 40-13 since the beginning of August and have gained a grand total of *one game* on the Giants.

Jays got the win but had to burn Romero for five outs. Can't imagine he'll be available on Saturday.

At this point it has to be all hands on deck, doesn’t it?

For personal reasons I haven't paid much attention to baseball this year outside of the Braves; I had no idea the Padres were in a playoff position and collapsed and today I looked at the standings and see the Mariners in contention? Crazy stuff...

LA helped out big time last night.

Jays need to win their last 2 vs the Os and then need the Nats to win at least 1 of the last 2 vs Red Sox. Rays sweeping NY would be a huge bonus.

Today is the first day the Jays could be eliminated from the playoffs, but lets hope they finish today tied for the 2nd WC spot.

A 3 team tie with Jays/Mariners/Red Sox for the WC spot I still don't fully get. Red Sox would either get to host tiebreak #1 and 2(should they win 1), or be the road team for tiebreak #2 and skip the 1st game?

A 4 team tie for the WC means Red Sox and Jays host. Yankees probably choose to play Boston? They won the series vs Jays too, but swept Boston. Mariners vs Jays by default after.

I can’t believe it’s the last weekend of the regular season already. Usually when the Mets are this bad, which is nearly every year I’m ready for the season to end but I’ll be bummed after tomorrow. This has been a strange team to watch
