I am just saying RIGHT NOW the mets roster is looking good compared to the Braves and that the Braves will have to get moving to match it that is all... lockout will happen in 5 days anyway and everything will go stone cold.

I don’t know about taking the Mets roster over the Braves right now. The Mets would need to re-sign Baez and Stroman just to get back to where they were last year, which was not a good team

I feel like these next few days could get wild. Unless the offers they’re receiving are very underwhelming I have to think the players would want to be signed and know where they’ll be living before 12/1 rather than potentially being locked out until spring training or later and then scrambling to get your living situation in place as you’re reporting to camp

Cardinals and Scherzer have had conversations, although I'm not sure how recent they are.

Both appear to be mutually interested, but given Scherzer's asking price, signing him to what he wants would prevent the Cardinals from being active in free agency for any other top tier free agents.
