If you shift correctly you don't even need him to move out there.

I don’t think any big signings will happen but it would be nice for the eventual GM to be in place to make the qualifying offers, non tenders, 40 man moves, etc.

I know I'm one of the few but I hope Atlanta pays Freddie for who he'll be these next few years, not what he has been.

I dont want what happened in Q1 of last season to be the norm like what happened to Pujols. That could easily detriment the franchise.

Mets made qualifying offers to Conforto and Syndergaard as expected. I’d turn it down if I’m Conforto and try to find a prove it deal elsewhere, even if it means taking less money that the QO. The Mets have turned in to a place hitters go to die, except Javy Baez who remarkably became way more disciplined

I think that AA has shown that he's more apt to go with contracts of high AAV over over length for veterans. Freddie should still have a few very high quality years left, but I do hope we're not paying him $20m at age 37 either.

Yeah I reckon no deal will get done till mid feb. It’s gonna go on and on and on. ( the joke of 2020) that year Would have had baseball in May not July had they not screwed around for months.

Feb when panic will start and a rushed deal will be made than free agency will be crazy as hell for 2 weeks ready for spring training
