Sounds as though the Red Sox, Blue Jays, Yankees, and Braves have shown considerable interest in Justin Verlander.

Its reported he has both multi year and one year deals in hand
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I could see Jays doing a 1+1 offer with a PO.

In the past, them giving guys that extra year has been the difference in signing players.

But he must have had an insane workout if teams think that he at 39 can still go despite not really pitching since 2019.

I wonder if Springer could help the Jays case to sign Verlander.

39 year old coming off of Tommy John, anything more than a 1 year deal should be a pass for the Yanks.

Yea I'd definitely be interested in one year rental. I strangely can't see him play here. Does he even have any interest in the Yankees. Don't think he ever has.

Glad to have belt back. We really missed him in the playoffs. Took the 18 mil qualifying offer

I think the Yankees have learnt from guys like kluber and taloon and xx in the past don’t bother taking that risk

                        It’s 2 years $50MM ($25M per season) with a player option for 2023.

Great to see that, but sucks that this will just further the fact that he's going elsewhere and/or will be paid huge.

                                The payroll can.

It's about if some team comes in and offers an insane number that's not worth matching.
