I might be getting fooled here, but someone who is "close" to the Jays has DM'd me on Twitter lol.

They say it'll be a 4 for 2 trade.

Jays send 3-4 prospects and possibly a MLB ready player for Iglesias and Syndergaard.

Let's see if I get a source or a fake, lol.

I haven't checked to see how you all are reacting to the Soto trade, but been watching MLB Network TV and listening to MLB Network Radio, and everybody is ignoring Josh Bell in this Soto deal. Dude basically has the same OPS as Soto this year, and is in a division with a bunch of lefty starters (specifically four on the Dodgers, and the Giants having Rodon and Wood) as a switch-hitter.

I know when it comes to long-term effects Soto can be a better acquisition, but Bell can be almost as impactful this year, especially if Tatis comes back and he is the person they have to pitch to as they pitch around everybody else.
