Did you notice how careful Sosa was in his statements. Lots of loopholes if he gets busted later. Palmeiro had better have been telling the truth, or he could do time for perjury. I believed him.

It was SO great to see these players, Fehr, and Selig in a position where they couldn't just walk out like they would if the media grilled them like that.

I just want to see Barry Bonds sit there and take it. Then again, he'd take the fifth anyway, the spineless creep.
      LOL, hows that book coming?

I'm doing this just for craps and giggles but maybe it might bolster the Bonds supporters. (I happen to think he's tainted the record books as he probably did roids/HGH)

The all-time pro baseball records for HRs is 868 held by Sadahuru Oh. Yes I know that Japanese baseball isn't up to the level of American baseball but as we've seen in recent years there are some guys who made the transition to MLB and have had success.

Anyways here's a link to his stats. Amazingly enough he had 30 HRs in his last season! Tho he only had a .236 avg.

Re: What is your take on the Congress and MLB?

Well after a day of reflecting on this I will give me overall thought on this. First off this was a disgrace for baseball. It was dragged through the mad and deservedly so after what the players and higherups have done to this great game. It was a great game before steriods and it is still a great game even with the garbage.

                  The Players.

Mark Mcgwire: An absolute piece of ****. Nice sob story. I have seen better performances in elementary school than the fake crying I saw yesterday. His refusal to answer questions was just plain sad. In fact I shouldnt even write this since the hearings were in the past. His statement that he couldnt talk because he would risk losing his family and friends is comical. Either everyone in your family is on steroids and would call you a wuss if you admitted you never did them, or you are scared that you will be exposed as a fraud and a cheater for taking them. I will take door number 2. The Maris family should get to **** in your face for frauding them and accepting their praise that they didnt even want to give you because you are a cheater.

Curt Schilling: I knew he was a piece of crap before this hearing and now he is a a bigger piece of crap. He rips Canseco for being a liar but then he admits that his steroid rant in 2003 was "grossly exaggerated" and that he likes the new policy and it should be given a chance. Thus after being Mr Zero Policy. So which way is it Curt. Its ok for you to lie and change your story but not Jose. Pathatic liar. I am shocked he didnt wear the bloody sock as a tie.

Corky Sosa: This jerk needs an interperter to talk and gives vague answers to questions. Someone said it best today. Does he need an interperter for commercials and interviews. I think not but he needs one here. Please. I have heard many interviews with him and he talks just fine even with the broken English. I am glad he lied to congress. Now when the truth comes out hopefully he goes down as a cheater like his boy Big Sac.

Palmero: Seemed honest, who knows but he didnt act the fool like the other players.

MLB Higherups: These guys got owned so bad it wasn't even funny. I think Bud and Rod Manfred are partners cause they are two of a kind. Both weasels who lie through their teeth. Manfred has to be the worst lawyer ever because I have never heard a lawyer who had to scramble as much as he did. Donald Fehr was funny. He expresses remorse for the family who were hit with tragity because of roids. This coming from a union head who will not support a zero tolerance policy. So you feel bad but you endourse your players taking them. If not why no zero tolerance policy. maybe because your a fake scum bag who helped ruin bseball in 1994, and also through the present day by looking the other way on roids. I felt bad for Kevin Towers. He was honest and he was lumped with those 3 jokers.

Baseball deserved this. They cant clean their own house and allow players to break national laws. If hope the gov't steps in and imposes a zero tolerance policy so the game I love can becaome clean again. Again just my opinion. Flame if you want.
