    Wow

Youk pulls an A-Rod with an RBI double after the fact... that a boy.

He can spell Youk at first, and Lowell at third. We know Lowell has been battling an injury to the foot, and fouling a ball off last night isn't going to help anything.

The Red Sox weren't going to be able to add any quality pitching at or after the trade deadline. So thinking this move canceled out any possible deal to bolster the rotation and bullpen is moot.

It seems like a solid move that adds depth to the bench, and someone who is above league average to step in if someone were to get hurt.

If Johnson pitched great, then Wang is the Cy Young.

Seriously though, the Sox sent out the worst of the worst and it would have taken a ton of luck to win today's game. If the ball bounces a little differently, they would have scored some more runs off of Wang (and if Gonzalez and Lopez were not the anti-clutch) and it would have been a more interesting ballgame. At least Torre, in typical fashion, burned out one of his mediocre relievers the first game of a long series. I predict that by the end of this series Scott Proctor's arm is no longer attached to his body. Who's the long man for the Yankees if Ponson predictably craps the bed tonight?

We got Keith Foulke tonight guys!

Seriously though we need to win tonight. I think Im feeling a good Lester outing tonight. And hopefully they bring their bats to the game tonight, 0-16 with RISP is pretty much unacceptable.

I turned it off after the explosion by the Yanks in the 7th...

Was nice to see Loretta and Hinske having 6 of the Rd Sox first 7 hits...good job everyone else.

Tina Cervasio actually looking do-able tonight.

That has to be a good sign... Right?

Luckily for you Jeter has genuine feelings.

Unluckily for you, Abreu has taken it upon himself to do what A-Rod wont against you.

I would have liked to have seen the damage done to the fan.

It must have been somewhat bloody for NESN not to show what exactly went down.

YES got in relatively close and it looked like she had a ton of blood coming out while they were putting the pads on her head.

NESN didn't show the fan at all. Hope she's ok.

Offense is doing the exact opposite of earlier today. Let's see what MVPapi can do.

Wolfe has definitly been making some late calls tonight. Fasano mustve whispered Strike 3 to him as he ran away.
