c'mon now.. why the heck do we have to suffer by having this lack of talent, big steamin' pile of a pitcher? Wilpon, is this because he has info on you? is this because he's related to some one in the front office?? this is a joke.. time to end the joke cause it's getting waaay old & not funny any more.. that was a brilliant move not only to pick him up, but to keep him in the rotation while trading Seo & Benson.. & what is wrong with Heilman as a starter??
i plead to the gods of baseball that he trips & falls before his next start & is out for the year.. or better yet, trade him to the Pirates - he surely would fit well cause all he does is steal money & gives back nothing...
so far that is two bad outings - couldnt even go more than 5 his first start..Comment

The Julio for Benson Deal is bad in a lot of ways b/c Benson was a good starter but If Julio Can pitch half decent out of the bullpen it will be needed , B/c itz not like the Mets have that good of bullpen..Even tho they are lookin decentLet's Get Ready To Rumble!Comment

Here is how I look at it. The Mets are off to a fast start, but have weaknesses. If the Mets can maintain 1st place position until the trade market opens up, they will know that they need to go in as serious buys. Omar will have no excuse but to relieve this team of or replace Zambrano, Trax, Julio, 2b production, bench. I think with the early success, this team may only be a few players away. Unfortunatly, Kazmir is gone and Zam is here for at least a little while longer (And Omar was not even here for that). Same goes for Benson and Julio. Let's focus on the future, rather than guys that should still be on the team. Some trades work out (Duanar, Nady) and some don't. Let's take the 3rd and final game from the Braves b4 we head out west!Comment

Plus Look at this way ..The Starting 8 I believe is SET for the Season for the Mets, When Carlos Zambrano is the Main Weakness thatz not a bad sign for the Mets.
