at 9-2 we get our first test the next 3 days. mike and the maddog said 11-3 after the braves series seals the mets ontop of mlb and shows it wasnt a fluke start to the season. i like our pitching matchups against the braves the 1st 2 games, im unsure of hudsons status, but thats the only game i give the braves the upper hand. itll be an intersting 3 days. lets go METS

Mike and The Mad Dog

FATSO and FRUIT LOOPS as I'll call them...are both pompous asses. They are both rude, obnoxious, think they know everything and HATE to admit when they're wrong...which is more often than not. I've listened to their schtick since they both came on the air...and I am not a listener anymore.

One idiot is a Yankees fan...so what does his silly azz know or care about...regarding the Mets? And the other idiot is a San Francisco Giants fan...need I say more? I don't think so.

Unfortunately, too many callers kow tow to these two....giving them praise and props when in fact, they deserve VERY few...if any at all. It's OBVIOUS that their 'knowledge' is in the NFL and to a lesser extent, the NBA. All one has to do is listen to 'qualified' baseball people talk about a subject...and then listen to these two bozos talk about the SAME subject....it makes me wonder why people listen to their tired spiel at all. I know why, but 'for the entertainment factor' ain't gonna cut it.

That whole 'Latino/Omar Minaya' thing that THEY started up big time on the RADIO back in February was inexcusable...and for them...for about a week straight...to allow caller, after caller, after caller---some clearly wearers of white sheets on their heads--to spew their racist leanings says a lot. And when it comes to race issues, they know nothing. And they should stick to whatever little they do actually know. After the Mets 9-2 start, I would guess all of the hate mongers should go back into their holes right about now.

In closing, I'll say this: yes at this early juncture of the 2006 season, the Mets have the better record, but knowing FATSO and FRUIT LOOPS like I do, you knowwwwwwwww they will find something NEGATIVE to say about the Mets and Willie Randolph.

On Friday, part of their drivel was on Jorge Julio who we all know has not pitched well...with the exception of today...but they not once mentioned the Yankees' own pitching headache--Kyle Farnsworth.

If they wanna talk negative, I think they should lead their show off tomorrow talking about Kyle Farnsworth...
