    Willis vs Glavine hasn't dissapointed.

0-0 going to the bottom of the fifth.

Great job by Glavine in the 5th.

1 and 3rd no outs and comes trough with a zero.

This season will see even more games where David Wright carries us to victories like today.

willis and glavine threw great IMO

glavine gave up 2 runs in the 6th...

willis gave up 2 runs off of a wright triple in the 7th.. (the triple could have been avoided if the rf would have just kept the ball in front of him instead of diving)

                      Carlos Beltran

Yes, he drew the walk that would eventually turn into the game winning run. And no, he was NOT booed today. But the most important thing is that APPARENTLY those IDIOTS that seranded Beltran with boos on Opening Day have realized the (gross) error of their ways. Even some here on OS (if they are truly humble), should now realize that that booing stuff...subsequent to Beltran's FIRST AB this season, was just flat out wrong---there was no defense for it.

Let's hope that from now on, those Mets fans who are misguided in what 'supporting' a player REALLY means, will step up and do the right thing. After all, this COULD be a very, very special season at the ballpark over by Flushing Bay.

Us Mets fans have waited too long, and we got to support our team all the way.

                      PS: Regarding Matsui, don't ask...lol

I REALLY hope they can find a way to deal him...he's just a lost case. Add to that, for all of those years he played in japan, he never missed a game due to injury...but since he's become a Met......

                          Ummm... awesome game today!

I'm watching the games afterward (on MLB.tv) so its not the same but I was nervous during those 8th and 9th innings. Oh well, it worked out well. Wagner is still getting warmed up IMHO.

You may be right....but one thing is real clear, Kaz cannot get it done here in NYC....

Personally, I never want to see him in a Mets uniform again.....

depending on anderson's play i wouldnt be too suprised if we see jeff kep up from triple a!! IMO he has the better stick at the plate and both are about equal when it comes to fielding.

I STRONGLY disagree with that statement. Anderson is hands-down a better fielder than Keppinger- Keppinger does not possess the range, arm, or athletic ability of Hernandez on the field.

There is no reason to worry about Hernandez's average right now- he did get two hits off of the D-Train, a fairly impressive feat. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...
