ok i just dont get it, wags would have come in against the mets around this time last year and would have blown smoke past our 3,4,5 hitters 98-100mph. i know its cold in NY etc and tough to get loose as a pitcher but he hasnt been clocked over 94 yet.

nah.....He just threw a bad pitch and the guy turned on it, it would have happened to any closer....I still bet his saves 47 this year....I bet he only blows about two more games and thats it.

Ever the ultimate optimist for your teams. I actually hope so. I like Billy Wagner. It would be nice to see the Mets finally live up to their pre-season hype, I am sick of hearing about it every year.

I hope Xaxier Nady continue to rake, as it would be just one more nail in the coffin for Kevin Towers and the rest of the inept Padres Front Office.

Bannister had a nice debut. He could end up being a very nice pitcher in a few years. His stuff is pretty good.
