Not celebrating anything yet, especially with Eaton going tomorrow. I'll be much happier to see Sunday. BTW, if they do happen to end up tied, I think the one game playoff is BS. Phils owned the Mets this year and to leave it up to one game is a bit of a sham.

    But...for now.... THAT'S ONE!

Woah, we're choking big time today. Eaton took the crowd out of it in the top of the 1st. Rollins getting picked off. Ruiz making two boneheaded mistakes, costing us two runs. Howard being the worst defensive 1B in baseball.

We look like crap. Looks like it's coming down to Sunday.

It would be terribly ironic if the Phillies couldn't pull it out b/c they didn't score enough runs.

Re: Home of the Philadelphia Phillies

This is the beginning of the end. The hopes were high and everything and our team couldn't at least keep a game's distance.

I knew it was going to be a bad day when I heard Maine was kickin' azz out there with a no-no through 5. The the Phils' game got going and Eaton was knocked out in 3 innings and we couldn't hit for ****. Something told me it wasn't going to be the Phils' day.

                  And sure 'nuff....

Something tells me we are going to get a very harsh reminder of why we are Phillies fans.

If the Phils and Eagles both somehow lose tomorrow, I just want to say that it's been really nice knowing you all.

Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.

I'm no Eagles fan, but seriously. this is a damn setup.

Eagles play the New York Giants. Phillies battling the New York Mets.

It's a setup for disaster. It's clear as day!

My prediction is that we're going to Monday. Hate to have it come down to a one game scenario where anything can happen. Still think if they end up tie you should look at the regular season series between the two. Phils owned.

Wow....7-1 Fish in the middle innings, but Dontrell is out? Guess they don't want to risk injury with him.

Phils just gave up a run to make it 3-1. Why didn't Howard tag the runner on the throwing error? He finished the run on the fair side of 1st base, no? He could've easily tagged him out if he was paying attention. Howard really needs to get more intuitive with the defensive side of the game.

He did try to tag him, but missed.

Dontrelle was wild today, walking 5 in 2 1/3. He was also hit by a pitch in the first inning.

Sul...I'm talking about after he missed the tag, the runner ended his run past 1st base in fair territory, basically fair game, no?
I think that's why Moyer was yelling and pointing at the time to him.
