I was watching the game on gametracker and I was thinking man it'd be nice if Jhonny hit one out here... and what do you know, he did!

What a great game! Sabathia got racked in the first and we were like, "Oh boy, here we go again." Then the rain delay came and went in about 30 minutes and then BAM! The big guy just started DEALING! I think he retired 16 of the last 17 batters he faced or something. Anyway, Peralta is the only guy I know that can strike out, ground into a double play and still have a five RBI game. He is just so inconsistent it's unreal. Pronk hit another one out today and Grady stole another bag too, so all in all it was a good night.

can we cut Roberto yet? Dude sucks... much like Jimenez from a few years ago IMO. Travis comes through in the clutch for the win... and guess what... another series, another series win!

I almost forgot to post this. This was from the May 1st game.

This is what it looked like during the brief rain delay (according to my camera phone) from about 30 rows behind home plate just as they were removing the tarp and about to resume play:

Ugh... it's sad to see this after that streak of what? 455 straight sell outs? We've got a great team this year, the fans need to come out and support the team!

Well, 2 things. One, that was a rainy night, big storms coming in and weathermen warning us of the apocalypse all day.

Two, the 455 sellouts were mostly while the Browns were gone. We got red hot in 94 pre-strike, and went to the World Series in 95. So you have Jacobs Field opening, and a World Series the following year which lead to fans coming in droves. You would have had to have seen Cleveland Muni Stadium for baseball to understand our happiness LOL. They still draw pretty good along with the average attendance of other cities, but the Browns are back now, and money is saved for a lot of people to attend Browns games. The biggest is, it's expensive to park downtown, that's one of the things that always stops me, that and I have Lake County Captains season tickets (A ball farm team of the Indians). They are right up the road from my house.

I sure do. He hit the Budweiser sign directly underneath the video screen. It was a tad bit over 500 feet. Jim Thome hit one even further than that on the 4th of July the very next season though.

I was there the night before McGwire's and there the night of Thome's. Thome's blast was something I'll never forget, but it was my 2nd fav HR at that stadium. The Larry Walker HR during the home run derby that he broke the lights out of the right field scoreboard was epic.

Winning tonight would be big with Sowers and Sabathia pitching on Saturday/Sunday.

ugh what a crap series... only taking 1 out of 3 from the Birds... can't complain too much though, only the second lost series of the year and C.C. moves to 5-0...

Joe Bro... 11 saves in 18 wins for the Tribe this year... pretty darn good.
