hehe, they can usually hit very well which makes playing them in games great.

I haven't tried playing the Cubs in The Show, but they are hitting great IRL.

All I was really hoping the Rangers would be semi competitive this year. Should of known that they wouldn't be able to do it. Oh well, I have faith in Nolen. I think he'll get the Rangers semi good, it may just take awhile.

Since when did Frank Catalonotto start doing adult movies, the picture of him on fox sports with that moustache is brutal.

I saw that pic last week when I was watching a game on gameday. I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard.

I know the Rangers have the worst record in baseball and all, but is there always so few people at the games? I thought the Royals were bad.

Tonight both the Stars and Mavs had playoff games. No one really cares about the Rangers. I went to the game and there must have been a few hundred people left after the 8th inning.

Ahh yeah, didn't even think about that. I was just amazed as it didn't look like there were even 3,000 people there in the first inning.

I would guess there was about 8,000 there. There were quite a few people in the other levels that they don't show on tv.

I am just curoius what do Rangers fans think of the Hamilton Volquez trade after one month in the seaon gone?
Hamilton is tearing it up but dont you think they would be better off with a pitcher like Volquez?
If you ask me OF are a dime a dozen while quality starters are very hard to find.

That's exactly what I said then and now. In fact I just used the dime a dozen phrase last night. Overall though, I think the trade was even. Texas needed a centerfielder and that's the price they had to pay. I knew Volquez was gonna be a good pitcher, but once it got hot his balls elevated and Texas never helped develop him or put him on the mound enough to go through the ups and downs of a season. Honestly Texas has more problems than trading away Volquez. They have Laird, Cat, Jennings, etc. on their roster.

There's no telling if Volquez would've been a solid starter in Texas. Arlington is where pitchers go to die. I'm perfectly happy with the way this trade has turned out, with Hamilton straight murdering the ball. He should be a stud in Arlington for years to come.

With our luck Volquez would be doing horrible if he was pitching for the Rangers. I'm glad that the Rangers did trade for Josh Hamiltion and hope that he is a key piece to the Rangers for years to come. Hitting fourth and playing center everyday is somebody the Rangers need in the outfield. They haven't had a protified solidified outfielder in years that just came to the ballpark and knew he was going to be in the lineup day in and day out at one set position.

By the way. I'm new here and am a Rangers fan. Were having a tough year.

Well GABP is even worse of a pitchers park then Arlington so I dont think it had anything to do with the ballpark.
