LOL! I'm a Hornets , Cowboys , and Rangers fan. Just now found this thread on the "NEW POST" will be visiting more often.

I'm glad the Rangers are finally breaking out of the slump. Don't know what's been going but the fight was great last week. LOL! Rangers in October? Let's not look so far ahead but I like the way they are playing so far this season.

I think they're actually playing the young guys, and the young guys are playing well. Outside of Young, the rest of the team is relatively young and it just reaffirms my belief that if you have good minor leaguers you might as well give them a shot rather than let them sit in the minors for 3 or 4 years.

Josh Hamilton has hit the ball great this season but Edison Volquez has pitched well for the Reds as well. Good trade for both teams. We probably get better out of a hitter at the Ballpark in Arlington. Volquez would've got blasted there.

Well the Rangers are starting to mix things up...

Ben Broussard designated for assisgnemnt. I'm sure he won't clear.
                Travis Metcalf activated.
Called up Doug Mathis. He's been great in AAA. I've watched him pitch twice this season. He leads AAA in Wins.
Sent Metcalf to AAA, he needs to get him some good at bats in and get healthy.
Released Kazuo Fukomri, so much for him being an asset to the bullpen.
Marlon Byrd recalled to Texas. He did alright in Oklahoma, as I saw two of his rehab games.

Mathis looked good when he pitched Monday night I believe. I really wanna see Hurley brought up though. I really thought Kaz was gonna be good, I was way wrong. Having Byrd back will be good...Blalock should be back soon too.

Yep dropped it in 12 innings.

Hank Blalock began his rehab assignment yesterday in AA Frisco.

Wade Boggs has played well since being called up as well.

Nice. Wade is playing again. I'm surprised he didn't start in the majors considering his rep.

                        Brandon is the guy's name.

Boggs has looked good and made some good plays both on the field and at the plate. He deserves to keep the spot.
