We were undefeated vs. Cleveland in 2007 but that didn't help us in the postseason. I know Minny looks like a better matchup on paper but they are white hot right now. That lineup, even minus Morneau, is raking.

Joba out of the pen in the ALDS is pretty sweet. If Minny takes the one game playoff I would think Girardi would opt to take Marte over someone like Robertson since the Twins have more lefties.

        I'd prefer Minny as well.

Where to start? first this comes off as a very trollish post. Second, I can't even read it with so many run on sentences and punctuation errors or lack of. Next problem? You have no evidence that our pitching sucks: Sabathia, Burnett, and Pettite SUCK? Are you dumb or just not baseball savvy? And the Tigers will be starting Verlander in Game 2 and Game 5? He will be starting Game 1 and Game 4 if you knew anything about your rotation, I see your name is NY Alex, sounds like a disgruntled Met's fan to me. See you in Spring Training.

Edit: "I love how New York Media tries to make Joba a future ace" I can assure you the media had no impact on Joba in any regard that you spoke of, The "Joba Rules" were made by the Yankees front office and manager. Once again you show you have no idea what your saying, Thanks for the (You suck post) so original, and when you say Yankees please capitalize it.

A pen of Coke, Hughes, Chamberlain, Rivera? Yea, those are the only names I want to see stroll out after the 6th.

It's a breath of fresh air seeing him in the pen again (where he belongs) - Looked like the old Joba in the final game of the season.

Came in the 7th inning only needing 7 pitches to get out.

Joba belongs in the pen, He is so electric for 1 or 2 innings, he doesn't have to hold anything back: Joba, Hughes, and Rivera, can you think of a better bullpen in the majors then that?

No Coke. Give me Aceves and Robertson. Coke gives up too many home runs.

I only mentioned him because he's a lefty and I'm sure they'll want to use him to face a lefty whenever that scenario pops up. I doubt we'll see Coke face three hitters in a row unless the game was out of hand.

I think Marte might have taken the main lefty role away from Coke. Both will probably make the postseason roster anyway.

Hmm, I do not like Marte.
I do not like him at all.
I do not like him spring, in the summer, or the fall.

Burnett starting Game 2, Molina will catch him.

                              Ugh.

He's pitched pretty well since he returned from the DL. He had that one ugly 4 run outing, but in his 13 other appearances he's only given up 1 run.
