Just came back from tonight's game. What a game. Miranda!

Fitting it would be Farnsworth to blow the game.

People started booing him when his face came up on the board. I, however, cheered because I knew it was a good thing he was pitching.

when you put Bowden in ur not trying to win...lmao think about it do u think francona would have started those three guys if he was trying to take that series he was focused on resting guys and getting ready for the playoffs i believe it was either the last game or the first game of the indians series papi and a-gonz were the only starters in the lineup

Yeah, the Yankees were really playing as if their season was on the line as well. Please get your excuses out of here, if you had swept us in this series everyone would be talking about how it was a blow to the Yankees' psyche and that this was foreshadowing something. Just take your losses like a man.

                  Amazing.

My brother and I have been talking this entire month about Alex Rodriguez playing his butt off to get to 30 homeruns and 100 RBI.

So with a week left, I asked him if he thinks Alex will have a monster week to get it done. He only needed 2 homeruns and 7 RBI. I said to him, "He needs one big game."

With this being the last game of the season, I was ready to give up. I figured there was no way possible he could achieve that amazing goal.

And then the 6th inning happened. Amazing.

So the "waiting game" starts. Who are we gonna face in the first round, Minny or Detroit? Which team would you fellow yankee fans rather face the Twins or Tigers? Whoever wins the One game playoff between the two will be riding some serious momentum. I hope we get Minny though, they don't stack up to us in any regard, Where as Detroit has a good Rotation and a solid lineup, Give us the Twinkies!!!

                        Season series match-ups:

                        7-0 against the Twinkies.

                        5-1 against the Tigers.

Regardless of our success between the two, I'd still take the Twins.

I know we can handle any team in the majors, but in a 5 game series Minny does not even pose a threat to us in any regard. Detroit however; Is dangerous in 5 games.

                          Verlander
                          Jackson
                          Porcello

That's a pretty good rotation backed by a good offense, Regardless I know this team is leaps and bounds better the the Yankees squad that lost to Detroit a couple years back. But I still would rather face the Twins.

Edit: Brett I just noticed we have identical sig's LOL I did not copy you man, just so you know I'm not a poser:wink:

I'd rather play the Twins. We always seem to do well against them, especially in the playoffs. Looking at both teams I'd say their offenses are about equal, maybe a slight edge to Detroit, but Detroit does have the edge with their rotation.

Yea we always seem to knock the cream filling out of the Twinkies. (Pun intended)
