Re: The 2009 New York Yankees
i know that but what i am trying to say is, girardi always has too much confidence in these players that show no promise what so ever. like mitre when are they gonna realize we really can't get it done with this guy? girardi loves to manage the team like its a little league team. doesn't wanna hurt anyones feelings, tell everyone they are playing good. give everyone a chance. give me a break.MLB: Yankees

Re: The 2009 New York Yankees
Cashman was on the fan just now.
-Said they weren't willing to take on Halladay's salary, so he was never really an option. And he wasn't willing to give up Jackson and Montero for Lee or Washburn.
-They'll skip Joba at times the rest of the way and they think he'll benefit from that. Sounds like they are committed to him starting all season.
-Hughes would take too long to stretch out, so there's no way they'll put him back in the rotation this year.
-Said NL teams actually still ask about Igawa, but his salary makes him too tough to trade.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

At least Sterling said it for the proper player this time. I laughed my *** off when he said "It's an A-BOMB from A-ROD" and Matsui hit the home run, lol!
Fantastic game last night, one of my top 10 Yankee games!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
