Oh yeah, not only is he off to a hot start with the bat but he commited 2 more errors in tonight's game against Florida. That makes 3 errors in the 4 games he has started. Way to go Garrett!

It's actually spelled Garret. Anyways, he's supposedly had a hampered calf so that's hopefully the reason to his meager play...Diaz was doing well so if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I didn't think it get so disgusted this early in the season...I mean we have the SPs, the defense (if Garret if on the bench), and plenty of offense but the bullpen is pitiful.

Boyer... I like the guy but dang. If he doesnt improve quick then something has to be done. He needs a nasty pitch like a hard slider or sinker.. Straight fastball and 12 to 6 curve that hangs more often than not will not get you to far.

It's a long season, but man this team looks familiar. I tried not to get to high the first week (I still remember starting 24-12 in 2007 only to see us finish 60-66 from that point), but man I was hoping for a better showing against the Fish. Chipper is starting to tick me off...we need him in the lineup.

After 2 more runs today, everyone except Gonzo (have to have a closer), Soriano, Bennett(sp?), and maybe Moylan need to be cut out right or sent to single A and let them earn their way back.

Don't forget about Carlyle. I don't think he should be cut, I think he has earned his spot on the roster and unless he starts pitching like Boyer we should keep him.

I think the pitching will end up being ok this year ( I hope ) but one thing that will haunt the Braves yet again is the teams lack of power. If you have that then you dont need to get 10+ hits a night to score 3 or 4 runs.
