They're also 36 and 33, and rentals. They're also role players; Uribe especially is just there until Wright is healthy. That's about what I'd expect. Middling prospects that aren't really impact guys.

They're in high A/double A, which kinda bridges the gap between the guys that are ready/nearly ready, and Fried/Toussaint. Both of these guys are still a couple years away at least.

Sorry but these 2 guys stink, they are career minor leagues written all over them, I know you can't get much for the 2 guys traded and the contract, but these are AAA at best player. I guess the younger one has a better chance, but at 21 in high A, not going to be great, not going to be good, average at best. At least go get an average position player.

Maybe that wasn't out there. I doubt they turned down a guy that looks like a quality major leaguer. They listened to offers, and especially with trading within the division, I'm sure took the best deal.

Neither guy is likely to be a quality major leaguer. Either or both could turn into a back end of the rotation guy or a bullpen arm.

This team isn't fun to watch anymore. The first few months of the season were very fun in my opinion. Hovering around .500 mostly but every single game was competitive. If the bullpen would've been figured out back then I think the season would be going much differently.

Bullpen has been much better, actually. Era is down to 4.12, which isn't good, but considering how high it was before, they've been doing pretty well t OK get it down

Definitely. If the bullpen in May would've performed how it is currently, I think this team would be. 500 right now

I'm looking forward to seeing how Vizcaino handles being a closer.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Hector Olivera...Mike Morse? What am I missing guys!? Neither of those guys make ANY sense for this team right now.

Olivera will be 32 in 2017. He's not young, but he won't be washed up either. And he's relatively cheap. The Dodgers paid nearly half of the $62.5M with his signing bonus. We apparently really really like him, so I guess we'll see.

I didn't realize Morse was signed through next year. That sucks. I figured he was just filler for the rest of this season.

Morse is signed through next year at $8.5 million for next year. I have no idea where we play this guy...and he's had exactly ONE good year in the bigs.

He's gone...why riot? Glad they got something for him before he busted...

#1 prospect, plus Wood, plus 2 more pitchers for what? An old prospect at 3rd? You can make that trade straight up, you don't trade both.

It's not just that though...we got a lot more back. At least Hart is being bold and making moves.
