Whew, exciting game.
Who knows, Giambi might have saved some jobs, and kept Cano and Wang on the team for now.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Atleast the Yanks will stay in 3rd place for another day.
This coming up series in Baltimore can only be described as HUGE. Losing that series is simply unacceptable.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Originally posted by camulosIMO, whoever loses that series is pretty much done in the division. Baltimore plays 5 games against the Yanks, and 3 against the Red Sox in the next 2 weeks.

12 of 13 is decent. We should've won that 2-0 game against Pittsburgh though.

Re: Official New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures Team Thread
A-Rod and Giambi are the last two guys I wanted the Yankees to beat the Mets with.. if the Yankees had to win tonight's game, that is.
With Giambi especially driving in the winning run, that has to be embarassing.
I bet Minaya would seriously consider trading Looper for a sack of baseballs right now :PComment
