What pisses me off so much about the Yanks, other than the fact that they're the Yanks, is that they could use their money to purchase guys who play the game the right way, rather than make a bunch of errors then bludgeon the opponent into submission the next inning. It's just crappy baseball. Crappy.

I sweaaaaaaaar to God they better not trade Cano. First good, young player weve had in like a decade in the Bronx, basically since Jeter, Pettitte and Mo came up.

I wouldn't say Cano is untradeable. He's done well but lets be realistic, his ceiling isn't all that high. He should be an ok starting 2B in his MLB career, but he's no Jeter, Pettitte or Mo.

The yankees have a tough schedule ahead of them. This will be a crucial part of the season for the yankees if they want any chance at making the playoffs. They need to start winning series.

As alot of the NY media has said, I think this is a GREAT time for the Yanks to hit a really tough part of their schedule. They need some damn answers for our team.

Plus, it's a lot better if we go on a 10 game hot streak vs. the O's and Sox cause we'll gain games quicker by beating them. Plus, a 10 game winnings streak will also do alot more for the moral of the ballclub than doing it against the Royals. Oh wait, we were the ones who got swept by the Royals.

Anyway, we had Giambi's walk off homer last which everyone said...

"This could be the game that we look back on in October and say, 'That's the night the Yankees turned their season around."

Well, that didn't happen and we lose 3-4 to the D-Rays at home. But then we come back from an 8 run deficit and score 13 runs in one inning. Once again people said...

"This could be the game that we look back on in October and say, 'That's the night the Yankees turned their season around."

Well, that didn't happen and we lost our series to the Mets and looked AWFUL while doing it. Then we have Giambi w. the walk-off 2 RBI single last night and once again...

"This could be the game that we look back on in October and say, 'That's the night the Yankees turned their season around."

Geez, they need to actually use something for a spark and stick w. it. It's like the "spark" lasts about 2 games. We need to figure out what this team really is, a World Series contender or a .500 team. Sadly, I think we're the latter of the two.

Rumor has it that Gene Michael is going to be let back in to the "inner circle," and will have more input in decision making. It's pathetic a man who had such an impact on building the dynasty has been kept out of the loop. Hopefully it's the start of Steinbrenner shifting away from the "Tampa Group" when making decisions.

Thanks to Chris Ray, the Yanks tied it up at 4-4.

Hopefully the Yanks can hold the O's to no more runs.

Also great, Sox are down 4-0 and Jays are down 4-2.

                          Yankees win.

Orioles killed themselves with a walks, balks, and passed balls.

But a win is a win.

Steinbrenner summoned team executives to Tampa, Florida for a meeting Tuesday to discuss the direction of the club.

Among those attending will be general manager Brian Cashman.
