I'm sure Ortiz and Damon would like to keep those homeruns. Hopefully play resumes but it doesn't look good.

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
I'm sorry to report that Mark Bellhorn will be a Yankee“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

Its not like Bellhorn is going to start. ****, he'll be lucky to get off the bench, but atleast that means we don't need Escalona anymore.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
Even thoughe everyone contributed to the WS championship, Bellhorn was key, and if I went to the game tonight and he was still with us and playing like he was, I'd boo him because he is underperforming a lot, however, if he came here with the Yankees and I went tonight, I would appluad him, just for all he has done.
After that I'd boo him though.Comment

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
Can someone explain to me why Wells is so upset at being suspnded for 6 games? I mean I know 6 is a lot but its only that way to ensure he misses one start.... so in theory he's only being suspended for 1 game.
So whats the big deal?

Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread
He thinks he didn't do what they're suspending him for, plus missing one start just lost him 300,000 dollars. Plus, now he most likely will face the Yankees twice in September, rather than missing them altogether.Comment

I'd like that matchup much more than Arroyo vs. the Yanks if that was the alternative.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. Thank god the Union has has their priorities straight.
They're suspending him more for "coming in contact with two umpires" and "spitting on one" despite the fact that their hats are the only thing that hit and i didn't see any spit flying. he got ejected for saying the 'f' word.Comment
