If they do, at least they'll make the playoffs.

Anyway, Schilling sucks...What else is new. The Sox make some no name and/or rookie schmuck look like Nolan Ryan...What else is new. The offense is dead...What else is new.

Anyway, McCarthy looks pretty sick. I bet he can add some life to that fastball by fattening up a bit. Should be a good one, I would have really gone after him and Marte if I were the Marlins when AJB was on the market.

I can't remember the last time I've seen the squeeze play in an AL game...too long probably.

Well, Schilling didn't look bad today, just not great. He's making progress anyways. The splitter still needs a lot of work but his fastball was there today. He was clocked at 95 mph on his 117th pitch of the game. Foulke also looked good in his inning and two thirds, allowing just on base runner (hit batter). He struck Everett out with some nasty changeups down and away. Too bad McCarthy was untouchable today.

That was just as good as a win in my book. It makes me smile to see them not give up and put a fight to very the end.

              Bravo fellas.

McCarthy looked really really good... but the guy has twig legs. He needs to get some meat on those things and that'll definitly add some zip on his fastballs.

Anyways... good to see the Sox lose today. Hopefully we can (hopefully being key word) take care of the D-Rays and cut the lead down to maybe a game and a half before our series next weekend.

I'm going to one of the Yanks-Sox games next weekend so it should be a good time.

I just got word I'll be going tonight guys! Second game in a week. I went last Tuesday in the game Nixon knocked in the game winner in the bottom of the ninth. And the last time I saw Wakefield pitch, last season, he tossed 7 shutout I think in a 11-0 victory over Oakland.

All signs point to a great game and hopefully a good win

This game is going SO fast.

They're on pace for under 2 hours.

I love walk-off homeruns, when the Red Sox hit them, of course. ILLCHILL, you got to see an awesome game.

Two games in one week, two walk-offs, arguably the two best in Fenway this season. Thank you God. It was PHENOMENAL. I didnt know where the homer landed until this morning cuz once he hit it we went crazy. Olerud was nasty of course too. Wakefield was so sick and Graffinino with a great play at the plater. SO much fun. Whee.
