Re: '09 Recruiting Discussion
Kind of odd that you are a UK fan yet have a Georgie logo for your avatar....even if you do like Knowshon Moreno. I wouldn't call what he said as "assuming" as much as it was a very educated guess with your Georgia logo and all.#WeAreUKComment

true, but would it make much sense for me to change my avatar to UK, when my username is Knowshon24?????Comment

Re: '09 Recruiting Discussion
WVU picked up another verbal for the 2009 season over the weekend. Deniz Kilicli, a 6-10 245 lb PF/C from Turkey, gave his commitment to Coach Huggins after his visit there this past weekend. He will finish his prep career at at Mountain State Academy in Beckley, WV this year. He was receiving interest from UConn, Duke, UCLA, & Kentucky just to name a few.
I know the coach at Mountain State Academy pretty well and he told me that this kid has serious NBA potential and that he's just recently starting getting a lot of recruiting attention. UCLA coach Ben Howland was in town a few weeks ago, along with Duke assistant Chris Collins, and UK coach Billy Gillispie.Comment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: '09 Recruiting Discussion
Committed to Charlotte last week, supposedly a very solid commitment.Braswell had a visit last week to Xavier, a visit to Maryland this past weekend with a visit to Indiana coming up this weekend. I think he also plans to visit Virginia Tech and Charlotte in the upcoming month as well.
From everything I have read he has de-committed from Georgetown and taking all these visits to other schools can't be a good sign for the Hoyas.
I found the article with the talk of Braswell's visits here http://www.zagsblog.net/2008/09/06/p...-visit-xavier/
He joins KC Sherril(yes, he is related to Scooter Sherril, the NC State player from a few years back) in Charlotte's '09 class. The coaching staff is finally getting their legs underneath them as far as recruiting in the A10 goes. A lot of people are saying Sherril was highly underrecruited, he and Braswell should form a very tough frontcourt in the A10 for a few years.Comment
