    what a game.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Every time UConn looks ready to go in front, G'twn goes on a mini run.

I'm very impressed with G'Town tonight. Very impressed.

I just thought of something? Why are we just listening to Bilas? Where is Raferty?

Hoyas have got a firm grip on this one now. I don't know whether to be impressed by G'twn or underwhelmed by UConn.

Definitely seems like an off-game for UConn, but don't sell Georgetown short, they're playing a hell of a game. As Bilas says, UConn looks inexperienced and rattled on offense and they aren't taking care of the basketball. UConn's perimeter defense, primarily off the ball, looks very shaky. Granted they're playing against a very unique scheme in the Princeton offense, but it's not like it's a surprise. They knew what they were up against.

Edit: And to add one other thing, I see a lack of emotion in UConn. Granted you don't want to do anything stupid, but I don't remember see anyone really getting fired up besides Adrien a couple times. Where's the pride you're supposed to have at home?

                          Typical UConn loss.

Awful half court offense with no off the ball movement (six dimes for the entire game)
                          Uninspired defense, especially rotations
No idea how to handle screens, on ball or off
                          Half asleep crowd
                          No outside shots
                          Outhustled
Looked like we expected to just show up and win

Welcome to the Hartford Civic Ce..... er, XL Center. Players hate it, Calhoun hates it, university likes it because it = more money than playing on campus. The crowd is always bad there, it's got to be the worst "home court" advantage of any powerhouse program in the country. The rants have gone on for years but we gotta live with it until the place is condemned or collapses.

I don't know how it came off on TV, but I thought the crowd was actually very good this game, at least for the XL Center. Completely packed, even the student section even though it's break, and it was very loud until the game got away. Calhoun even mentioned the crowd after the game.

The game itself was terrible however. Dominated in every aspect of the game. But it's only one game, hopefully a wake up call that they need to bring it every night in the Big East.

                              .
I must say that Gonzaga really exposed the chink in UCONNs armor, the 2-3 zone. The Huskies were turning the ball over at will and I know Calhoun was furious because at least 2 of them came after TO's. They didn't even try to get Thabeet the ball at all. I knew Adrien was going to be a load for Gtown and he played well byt Dyson & Price were MIA. JT3 coached the best game I have seen since he has been here and that includes the win over UNC in the Elite a few yrs back. His offense/defense subs with Monroe and switch to the 2-3 was a thing a beauty for Hoya fans. The difference in this team is not Monroe but Chris Wright. His ability to get into the paint is something Gtown hasn't had since maybe AI.

No rest for Gtown though as Pitt comes to town next.

WOW...this conference looks wide open. There are at least 7 or 8 teams with a legitimate shot at winning it.

On a side note, how can WVU have an RPI ranking of 12, be 10-2 with a 30 point win on the road over an undefeated and ranked Ohio State team, and not make the Top 25? They could easily be undefeated after basically giving the UK game away and then losing the close one to Davidson while playing without 2 starters in Ruoff and Mazzulla. Oh well, there is still a ton of games left to play and they will have plenty of chances to prove themselves night in and night out in this league.
