I don't get Syracuse. You go from, effectively, a death sentence for Devendorff to a couple months in jail.

WVU is up 47-17 on Miami (OH) at halftime with Ruoff back. The Mountaineers are 5/6 from the free throw line! BRILLIANT!!!

Syracuse plays @ Memphis at 6pm 2night and I honestly do not have a great feeling about it. Johnny Flynn is not 100%, Devondorf is suspended, and their flight got delayed yesterday so they arrived late.

SU is gonna have to play a very good game to beat Memphis, they are going to need the bench to step up. Hopefully Flynn is not as injured as the reports say he is, but I just do not see SU being able to overcome the loss of Devo immediatly after his suspension.

I had no doubt we'd win, but I knew we'd have to play TWO solid halves of ball, and we sorta did. They started slow but picked it up towards the end of the first and got it done!

lol I sure am glad I was wrong. A couple more games without Devo, but I really like the Jackson/ Onuaku team, those two played awesome tonight. It will be interesting to see where Syracuse ends up in the Top 25. This game really makes the Cleveland St. game look like a fluke so I could see SU ending up between 7-13.

Yeah Jackson has really stepped up. He's developing a solid offensive game to compliment his rebounding and defense. He has the body and athleticism to be a great player.

Him and Onuaku will be a great duo in the BE.

I'm surprised we didn't see Ongenaet much last night. I always liked him, he hustles and works to get the ball.

Well hopefully Devo gets those 40 hours of community service out of the way ASAP so we can get him back, we're just not as diverse without him and we need those 14 points he gets us consistently.

Edit: Oh, and I don't see us dropping much IF we drop at all in the polls. I'm thinking about the same as you, anywhere from 7 or 8 to 13 or 14.

I think we are going to see one of the best Big East seasons ever in a few weeks. I wish Syracuse could have got UCONN at Home this year.

I'm with you on that one. UConn is always a tough game, especially if we're away.

And how about Louisville. They lost to Minnesota 63-70, big surprise there.

I guess Minnesota is better than we thought, either that or it was a fluke win.

well they are undefeated so I gotta think they are for real.

Louisville & Memphis are in the same boat. A lot of talent on both teams with no PGs to run the show. I don't know what happened to Sosa. As a frosh he looked like he had a lot of promise but now as a JR he has digressed big time.

yea Syracuse dropped a little bit. I was kind of Suprised considering they lost on probably the greatest play of the Year and they beat a good Memphis team in one of the hardest places to play in the Country.
