Dang. Tough blow. But I think UConn has enough thuroughbreds in the stable to still be a main contender. Especially when you have the intimidating force of Thabeet causing about 15 misses a game.

What the freak happened???? There was no hint of these 2 having an outcome like this.

One came out to play, one team came out to win. Louisville didn't do one damn thing to win this game. No offense, no defense, no rebounding, and no heart. There wasn't one aspect of the game where UofL competed with Notre Dame. Not one.

It was a night that Notre Dame was hitting on all cylinders and UofL was stuck in park.

I saw this coming a mile away. ND was due for a game like this.

I thought there was a good chance ND could pull off the upset, but Louisville didn't even show up. That game was way too easy for ND.

thats what happens when you have lackluster practices for the last few days. Thats according to both Pitino and Richard Pitino.

Richard said in the post game news conference, that they were "concerned" that UofL's bad practices would lead to a game that got out of hand like this and sure enough it did.

Cards have chronic schizophrenia. They'll either lose the 1st/2nd round or make the Final 4.

I'm looking forward to the game. WVU needs a win and playing in front of a home sellout crowd as the only national tv game of the night just might light a fire under them to pull the upset. It should be a great atmosphere at the Coliseum. Villanova's been on a roll and I'm anxious to see how WVU's defense fairs against Villanova's explosive offense they've been exhibiting as of late. If WVU stays out of foul trouble, I think this one goes down to the wire. If Butler or Ruoff pick up a few early fouls like at Pitt, it's going to be a long night in Morgantown because the crowd could get taken out of the game early. Win or lose, I don't look for Villanova to get anywhere near 100 tonight though.

You probably mean Multiple Personality Disorder because Schizophrenia happens when you can't filter your thoughts, then begin to hallucinate and become socially isolated (This is a common misconception). Basically, it's a horrible mental illness.

I'm prepared for WVU to lose tonight. They'll keep it close, as they always do, but I just don't see WVU winning. I'll hope for the best, but I'm not expecting anything much.

Any road game in the Big East is going to be tough, so I'm expecting a battle tonight. Of course I expect Nova to win, but I don't think its going to be an easy one.

Um...Ok....that one. Whatever. I'm saying they look dominant, like they are one of your unquestioned top 4 teams. Then they come up w/one of these "what the...?" outings that make you think bust. They are going to ruin my brackets, I can see right now. If I have them making it to Detroit, they won't make it out of Dayton. If I go opposite, they'll make the Finals.

It will be tough for you all as WVU seems to make every team looks pretty sloppy, but WVU is sloppy, too, so you should win by 5-15 points.

If WVU plays sloppy, then I see an easy Nova victory. The last couple games we've capitalized on turnovers, especially against Syracuse. Thats one of the reasons we've been putting up so many points. Also we've shooting lights out of late, but we'll see how that carries over on the road. I think I read something saying we haven't won in Morgantown in 10 years... hopefully that will change tonight!
