    Re: 2008/2009 Big East Thread

Hope your boys are ready cb, LOL. They are going to be entering a hostile environment on Saturday night and Ruoff looks like his 3-point shot is back and better than ever and I'm sure he's going to have a huge game on Senior Night. Ebanks and Jones are playing great and Butler is being Butler doing his 18 points, 8 or 9 rebound thing. Heck even Truck's playing much better than he was a month ago. You're going to see a different & better team in Morgantown than you saw in Louisville, especially the team that played the 1st half there. Just think about what happened to Villanova in Morgantown a few weeks ago.

I'm just messing with you man. Should be a good game and I'm looking forward to it. I just hope WVU can pull out the win.

Nova just finished doing to Providence in the 2nd half what they did to ND in the 2nd half Monday.

4 teams for the 8th NCAA bid next week at MSG. Last one standing among those 4 get it.

      Providence
      ND
      Cincy
      Georgetown

The Irish are locked in the 10 seed and should beat Rutgers again

What would it take for Providence to get the 7 seed. I would love for it to be an elimination game Wednesday between ND and them.

Tough to watch these games, we just aren't a national title contender anymore without Dyson. Just gotta write it off as a "what if" season.

Syracuse is really outplaying Marquette in the 2nd half but they seem to be sticking around. If SU loses this one, it will be very sour...

UofL is in the same position this year as they were last year. Win and you're champions. And both years, we have to win on the road to win the championship.

HUGE shot by McNeal. Quette up 73-72 with 17.9secs to go.

                            going to overtime..

I have to admit, I'm shocked Jackson hit one of two on the free throw line.

And last year Louisville lost in that position and hopefully we get the same result this year!

It was cool seeing College Gameday in Morgantown this morning.

Cincinnati just took a major blow to their at-large chances and overtime loss at home against Seton Hall. 18-13 (8-10 Big East) likely won't cut it, so they will have to do some work in the Big East Tournament to get in now IMO.

Jackson is not nearly as bad as Onuaku, he is pitiful. Awesome game so far...
