    Highlights of UConn-Texas:

The atmosphere at the game seemed incredible, but it might seem even better from watching that. The roar after Stanley's dunk was unbelievable, and those shots of the whole student section from first row to last row going wild were crazy. You can see me rushing the court at 7:15, I'm in the white throwback Ben Gordon jersey.

Agreed, though Kansas has enough holes that Cuse or Nova beating them would hardly be considered an upset IMO. We had a great win yesterday but I'm still not sold that we'll be any sort of a threat in the postseason. There aren't many teams that will let us get out and run the way Texas did yesterday.

Well as I recall, the Last time Syracuse had a good 2-3 zone, they seem to have been pretty good against Big 12 teams so I like Syracuse's odds this year. My biggest complaint about Kentucky, Kansas, and Texas this year was they have not really played anyone.

But if UK can consistently play a full 40 minutes per game, there aren't many teams that could beat them. The problem is they are very young and you never know what you'll get from them. So far it is working though.
thats precisely my point as to why I wouldn't be "deathly scared" of this UK team. There's no doubting they are talented, and no doubting, as much as I despise him, they are well coached, but the fact they are young and are generally going to play games in conference where they are far superior in talent to that of their opponent, leaves me to say they are a very beatable team when matched up against a team that has a good scheme, is well coached, and has experienced players.

Cmon Cusefan, you know 2002 has nothing to do with this year.

KU beat Cal (tops on the Pac-10), Temple by 30, Baylor and Memphis

Texas beat Pitt, USC, UNC, Michigan State, TAMU, and lost 2 tough road games.

            Anyway,

            First Gtown-Cuse Top 10 matchup since 1990.

I'm looking forward to the 'Cuse/G'Town matchup tonight. Should be good.

Is it in the dome tonight?

Sure is CB. I think the 'Cuse will take this one tonight. If the Hoyas can stay out of foul trouble with the aggressive Onuaku and keep the Orange to mid-range jumpers. As soon as Syracuse gets hot from 3-land it'll open up the paint and good night for Georgetown...

Yeah I'm not too confident either. Gtown's been shooting well from the 3pt line but I think Cuse has too much size up front. I'm pretty sure they destroyed WVU on the boards. I do like our guards vs theirs though.

Edit: That kid Dion Waiters coming to Cuse next year has some ridiculous bounce. Not looking forward to seeing him in Orange the next couple of years.

Syracuse SHUT IT DOWN against Georgetown tonight.

I was worried after the terrible 0-14 start but the response by the team was tremendous. Once they became more active defensively, it opened up the fast break. The crowd was awesome tonight, too. Man, I miss being at those games!

Rautins had a big game and Scoop and Joseph were huge off the bench.

Rematch is Feb. 18 on my birthday. Hopefully the Orange will complete the season sweep.
