Re: The 2009/2010 Big East Thread

Really Sosa? Having as good or better year statistically than most other pg's in the nation? You think you should be spoken about more often?

Sosa has had about as up and down of a career in recent memory that I can think of for someone coming out of high school with high hopes. Outside of Joe Crawford of course

And Rick Pitino isn't happy about it.Edgar Sosa has been having his best statistical season of his tumultuous Louisville career. ("Tumultuous" feels like an overstatement, given the subject of today's other Louisville-related post, but there's no denying that Sosa's relationship with his head coach -- and his play on the court -- have been both brilliant and frustrating during his tenure as a Card.

I don't even know that I'd say Sosa has had that many "ups" in his career, and a point guard averaging nearly three turnovers per game calling himself as good as any PG in the country....yeah...

Louisville lands 5* SF/SG Justin Coleman. Very excited about this signing.

Very good pick up for the Cards. I would think he would be more of a SG with his height in college though.

I always find it funny how different Rivals and Scout are in their rankings. Scout has Coleman as #16 player and Rivals has him at #45. I think Scout goes by potential more than current and Rivals is the opposite.

Either way I have read and heard a lot of good things about Coleman.

Villanova vs Georgetown tipoff. You can't beat watch Reynolds and Monroe.

I was REALLY excited for this game. I had to turn it off. I can't, for the life of me, listen to women call men's sports.

Clark has hit his first 4 threes. He's on fire! That's a little unexpected.

Louisville with a good win today in a game they couldn't afford to lose. The goal now is to win 5 of the last 8 and it starts Thursday @ St.John's.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but a HUGE game today between South Florida and Notre Dame. Winner keeps NCAA tourney hopes alive, loser would need significant help in the BET.

Also, Cincy could use a win vs Syracuse today.
