Louisville got ****ed. We were ****ed by the officials throughout the game(bogus charges, 7 fouls in 5 minutes to open the 2nd half, our 2 PG's getting into foul trouble mid-way through the 2nd half)..Louisville got ****ed.

WVU should be buying the refs dinner, if they haven't already.

Lemme say this. I HATE Louisville, but I gotta agree that those last couple calls were blown. That doesn't necessarily mean Da Ville woulda won, but you hate to see the refs keep the players from deciding it. That being said, just like the last few games, if the Cards had hit free throws and played smart, they wouldn't have had to rely on correct calls in crucial moments.

Countryboy, I hate it for you because you seem like a good dude. But I would be lying if I said I didn't get a little joy out of L'ville's misfortunes. That's a rival fan 4 you I guess. GO CATS!!!

Doesn't mean we would've won in the slightest, but as you said, its a shame when the refs take the game out of the hands of the players and its even more of a shame when the refs blow obvious calls and take the game out of the hands of the players.

As for hitting free throws and playing smart, we hit 9 of 13 free throws...lol... and I thought played pretty well, although the zone at the end confused us a bit.

Look, the bottom line is that WVU won and we lost. We blew a 12pt lead and all that and I get that, but at the same time, its a shame that we don't have an opportunity to resolve our mistakes when we are due the opportunity.

Oh well...the BE is now a 10 game season for us. 7-3 the rest of the way puts us in the dance.

Officiating was inconsistent both ways. Initially when I saw the ball go out with 7 seconds remaining, I felt it was off of Ebanks. After seeing the replay from another angle, it did look like Buckles knocked the ball out. Too bad the ref was ducking like a girl and could make the call as it happened. Anyway, I don't exactly think that the refs handed WVU the game. There were several "no calls" that could have been made with Louisville's press. Those guards need a saddle because they ride the ball handlers all the way down the floor. Also, Swopshire should have been called for goaltending on the block in front of the rim and the foul that wasn't called when Huggins got his technical was absolutely ridiculous..........and let's not even discuss the takedown from Samuels when Smith had him blocked out and they called Smith for the foul. You can't really say WVU win was aided by the officials. Contribute the victory to the 1-3-1 defense that shut down Louisville the final 6 minutes of the game, and the fact that they had the Mountaineers on the ropes and couldn't deliver the knockout blow.

            UCONN SUCKS!!!!!!

If we make the tournament then it's a successful season in my eyes. Still I think we're a longshot. We don't know how to win games, and we just have many mental lapses.

That recruit Roscoe Smith better be good, and I hope we get Brandon Knight. Plus Oriakhi really really needs to improve. All he does right now is take up space.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

Who is UConn's worst player? I just want to know who will have a career performance Monday night against the Cards.

I'm looking forward to watching the game. Though there's a lot of basketball left to go, I think it's an elimination game as far as the NCAA Tournament goes.........considering the games both teams have left on their schedule. I'm not sure the loser can bounce back strong enough to get in. Should be a good, and exciting game though.

According to Syracuse University, the Villanova game has already sold over 30,000 Tickets and will excede the 33,000 mark. By all accounts, this will be the single biggest Basketball game in the History of the Carrier dome.

I dont know what will happen, but it should be be cool if the Nova and Syracuse go undefeated from now to that game. ESPN College Gameday will also be at that game, I cant wait!

today's USF upset over Pitt only exemplifies how tough the BE truly is. There are no gimmies in the Big East.

Wow - we are really down right now. This is the worst time to have to go and play Bob Huggins - it's going to be like blood in the water on Wednesday night...

That was the nail in UConn's coffin tonight, baring a BET automatic bid we'll be seeing the NIT this year. This is easily the most disappointing team of Calhoun's tenure and the worst team in Storrs since 1993. Amazing.
