They can still practice even if they don't go to the NIT. From the sound of Calhoun's post game tone today he wants no part of the NIT but it's the AD's decision.

Seton Hall almost gave another heart attack this season. We can't keep a decent lead and always puts us in position to lose game. But its survive and advance in BE tourney, bring it on Irish!

It's not a bowl game, you are talking about a few extra practices

The real Shocker of the day: Wes Johnson named Big East POY. I cannot say I really agree with this because Rautins is more valuable to the Orange than Johnson, but good for him...

Boeheim was COY but that was expected.
I made a case for Rautins but I'm fine with Johnson winning. After all, he was the piece SU needed to make the leap they did this year. Before his injury, he was dominant pretty much every time he stepped on the floor and even after the fall, he was still doing the little things like playing good D, rebounding and setting up teammates for baskets.

The only thing that hurts Johnson going to the next level is that he's not great off the dribble. He'll need to work on that but if you run set plays for him and get him an open look, he's deadly from mid-range and has good hops.

I know DOris gets a bad rap, but this is a great team of announcers. Wish they would do this for the early round matchups every year. Pasch, Fraschilla, and Burke. Burke is great and Fraschilla is always good at his job.

Awful possesions here late in the game by St. John`s. Anyone know if Roberts will be back for the Red Storm next season?

Well, it looks like USF is done after their 20-point loss to Georgetown.

Seton Hall will have a chance to prove its worth tonight against Notre Dame. If they win, I'd think they stand a decent chance at getting into the Big Dance.

                      ND's a lock baby

They have 10 losses, and they avenged one of their losses tonight. The next opportunity for avenging is Friday night

They're not gonna get that chance because Pitt will avenger their loss tomorrow night.

Well, looks like WVU will be taking on Cincinnati. I like WVU's chances a lot more against UC as WVU had a lot of issues against UL when they played them earlier this year (if it weren't for some fortunate calls by the refs, WVU probably would have lost).

No were both wrong. The Irish won't get a chance to avenge another loss until Saturday night. Assuming they win tomorrow, Cuse and Nova will meet Friday night.
