Re: 2011 Recruiting Discussion Thread
I know this will sound weird but I'm hoping UofL gets Miller and Wroten. A lot of UK fans get a sick joy out of UofL being down but I like it when the Cats-Cards rivalry is competitive and both programs are in the Top 10. You know, as long as we always advance further in the Big Dance and win the head-to-head matchup each year.
UK has been "down" more recently then U of L. Louisville willl be just fine.

Michigan has landed a point guard in the class of 2011 ... Columbus (Ohio) Northland top 150 standout Trey Burke. Last week's visit to Ann Arbor apparently sealed the deal and helped the 6-1 standout, Rivals.com's No. 136 prospect from the class of 2011.Comment

5 Star PF Kyle Wiltjer commits to Kentucky. Great pick up for us and someone who should be around for 4 years.#WeAreUKComment

Kid has never even visited UK's campus. I feel like Calipari can get anyone he wants at this point. Recruiting is almost boring now!

it appears to be a 2 team race for Quincy Miller. The teams are UofL and BaylorI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: 2011 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Not that what I hear or know means much, but I echo what you are hearing and have been for a while now. Miller has a great relationship with Fuller but don't count out Baylor. Very strong recruiter there (see the amount of elite players they are getting and/or are in on).
For the record, UK isn't out of it for Miller either. But with Davis I don't think Miller is a dire need eventhough he is a very very good player. So I would put them at 3rd for Miller but again, I don't think we will get him.
If I were UL, the biggest worry I would have for Miller is Baylor. Strong chance he ends up there. Of course, there's a strong chance he ends up at UL as well. Should come down to the wire.#WeAreUKComment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Discussion Thread
Yeah I assumed at least 2 years, but the difference apparently is that Orton wanted to get to the pro's faster than anyone realized. Plus there was a lot of stuff happening behind scenes that most people don't know about and it was probably the best situation for him to go. Plus the NBA loved his size.
As for Wiltjer, I don't see him leaving until after year 3, if then. He wants to learn and he wants to get better. But boy, the kid can freaking shoot! Played in a 5 game tournament against some of the nations best players and was 16 of 23 from deep....69%! Pure stroke.#WeAreUKComment

Orton would of been a 4 year player under Gillispie. Either that or he would of transferred.Comment

Re: 2011 Recruiting Discussion Thread
UofL has 5 basketball recruits attending today's football game against UK:
Quincy Miller
Deuce Bello
Josiah Turner
Chane Behanan
Zach Price (already committed)
There is major scuttlebutt going around that both Miller and Bello could committ today following the game, especially Bello, who is said to be "in love" with Louisville.
Could be a very big day for Louisville today.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Quincy Miller flashed the L when UK was coming out of the tunnel. And then he watched UK go 70 yards on 2 plays to score. Good stuff.UofL has 5 basketball recruits attending today's football game against UK:
