Granted we took out two of our own, seven of the top eight Big East teams are out. if ND loses tonight then none of the top 8 teams will make the Sweet Sixteen lol.

Marquette is such a better match up for UNC than Syracuse is. Not that I'm underestimating the Golden Eagles, but Syracuse's 2-3 zone scares me. Luckily we wont have to face it!Bengals

Wait, so Seth Davis's tweet basically clarifies that Texas got jobbed more or less, right?
(Not that it excuses Jordan Hamilton's brainfarts of trying to draw a charge as well as calling timeout when all he had to do was wait to get fouled.)Comment

Chuck is hilarious. Right or wrong.
I don't care what anybody says. He babbles, but still makes me laugh.
He is talking about "putting another feather in his cap" after ND loses tonight and proves his point that the Big East is overrated."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment

I honestly thought our game against Xavier/Marquette would be harder for us to win than beating UNC. I think we definitely could have handled them. No offense. Now I hope UNC pounds the crap out of Marquette.NFL: Bills

Meanwhile, Marquette and UConn, who finished in the bottom half of the conference, roll along.

Two (Richmond and VCU) Virginia teams will make the Sweet Sixteen now while the "traditional powers" Virginia Tech and Virginia sit at home (and VT lost today to Wichita State in the NIT). One thing great about college basketball is how the little guys can succeed, case in point Butler last year.Comment
