Come on Cat fans! Jake is a great poster and has gone out of his way to defend Calipari and UK fans multiple times. Yes he threw a couple of jabs at UK fans, but it was light hearted.
Is this what we have come to? It seems like, and not just here, that rival fans can't talk smack anymore without feelings getting hurt. If Jake was a troll about UK and Cal and continually and habitually made snide remarks and blasted UK and their fans, then get upset. But he isn't like that at all. Take the heat, laugh it off, and throw a right uppercut next time. UK has beaten the crap out of IU for the better part of the last 2 decades. We ARE the best program with the most wins and 2nd most National titles. IU has nothing on us outside of a lucky last second 3 pointer after IU should have handed us our butts in the most hostile environment I have seen, possibly ever. Let them hang their hat on that little win of theirs.

Fans are getting too sensitive these days. Not just UK fans, but all fans of any sport. I am guilty of this from time to time too. But what fun is it to have rivals if you can't have fun talking smack as long as you don't take it overboard? Or is it only fun with for people to be hateful and jerks? Personally, I prefer jabs and light heartedness with good posters instead of mean and nasty exchanges with trolls.
EDIT: wildcatchild, you may have been throwing light jabs back at jake, but it is hard to tell with the way the post starts off. You end it with a smile so I assume you aren't upset. This post is to anyone else, UK fan or not, that IMO we need to have fun with our rivals.
