The "best" team in the country should be losing at home like this...

They didn't lose...if all the shots had gone in they would have won, so you can't call it a loss.

Well this lost is going to take a lot from the post game senior night festivities. IU must play better basketball than they have the past week if they want be a title contender. Might have let the overall number 1 seed slip through their hands tonight and makes the remaining Michigan and Big ten tournament games much more important.

Very disappointing game by IU. We sure picked a good time to start playing like ****. @ Michigan next too. Forget the #1 overall seed, a loss at Michigan and a poor showing in the B1G tourney, we might not even get a #1 seed at all.

I think it has to do with the tone of some of the comments on the who is the best team in the nation thread. It's all in good fun though.

That was a frustrating final minute. UTEP missed a couple free throws, Memphis fouled on a 3. Then Memphis throws the ball back towards their backcourt up 2 with like 3 seconds left and the ball gets stolen and the UTEP player fumbles the ball shooting lol. I wanted UTEP to win so that Memphis was on the bubble because I don't think their resume is all that impressive.

They cut the nets down for winning at least a share of the Big Ten title on Senior night....after a loss?!?!?!? Are they afraid they won't be cutting nets down any other time this year?

Indiana is still Big Ten Champs even if it is shared and after a lost. Tradition is to you know get a trophy and t-shirt and hats and cut down the nets especially after the last home game. Tom Crean said it best that it was bittersweet, but the team still earned at least a share of the Big Ten title in the best conference, so they still deserve the chance to at least celebrate by cutting down the nets given where this group of seniors and juniors were a few years back. It's not like Indiana was having a party, as if you watched the senior night speeches which probably most of you didn't when team was presented the trophy it was a very subduded moment with no celebrations from the players with mostly long faces from from the players.

So, some guys on here have bitched about IU storming the court after beating Kentucky last year, complained about the display put up in Cook Hall as tribute to the team last team, made fun of Indiana for giving sweet 16 rings, and now this with Indiana after cutting down the nets have winning share of the Big Ten title at home. What's next?? Is what ever Indiana does really that important to you??? I know Indiana will be hanging a separate Big Ten title banner for this team. You guys may be wanting to mock that as well.

Seriously...who the **** cares what Indiana does. I guess what Indiana does off the court is really important to some of you guys on here. I don't get it though.

No, it has nothing to do with that. I like it when Indiana is good...it's good for CBK. What generates all the guff is when you get Indiana fans on here talking their team up, talking other teams down, and then Indiana loses and they disappear for a few days. Indiana wins, they are back in there telling us how great they are. In other words, homers...
