Re: 3/3 - 3/9 game discussion
We won a national title last year, and lost our best player (who will be a better pro than anyone on IU) due to injury, and have one of the best recruiting classes ever coming in next year. If we miss the tourney (Something IU knows a lot about...) it will be ok. Have fun losing in the sweet 16 again!Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

If they do, great. If not, oh well.
And it has nothing to do with being scared that Indiana is back. Indiana being back is good for college basketball. Indiana is one of the top 6 programs in college basketball history.
But my goodness, act like you've been there before. I've never seen a program do so much celebrating for winning absolutely nothing the past couple years. Only mid-majors celebrate regular season titles like that.Comment

Xavier had a big win against St. Louis yesterday, and if they can play well in the A-10 Tourney they have a shot at an at large bid.
9-6 in the A-10 and 5 top 50 wins is good, but most of them were at home so who knows.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

No, it has nothing to do with that. I like it when Indiana is good...it's good for CBK. What generates all the guff is when you get Indiana fans on here talking their team up, talking other teams down, and then Indiana loses and they disappear for a few days. Indiana wins, they are back in there telling us how great they are. In other words, homers...

I'm sure the players would have rather cut down nets after a win, but win or lost it doesn't change the fact they are still Big Ten Champs. While the players probably weren't thrilled to be cutting down the nets after a lost I'm sure 5, 10, and 20 years down the road these players will be happy to have that moment to look back on, so why deny them that??? It doesn't makes sense to me why this is a big deal. This wasn't done by Crean to appease rthe IU fanbase, other various fanbases around the country, the media, or anything like that. It was done to honor the accomplishment of his players. I'm glad Crean gave his players and especially these seniors this moment they will now have for lifetime and not give a damn to what others think is right or wrong to do in that situation.Last edited by dunnyduns; 03-07-2013, 04:31 PM.Comment

Re: 3/3 - 3/9 game discussion
Well, that's the end of Kentucky's season, based on what I've seen the last few games, this team doesn't belong anywhere in the tournament. This isn't Kentucky basketball.Comment

Wisconsin does this once a year. They have a game that - even for them - is so offensively inept that you wonder how any of these players play in a power conference.Comment

I know the scoreboard says they're down by 20 right now, but I swear they're actually losing by 50.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
